Kathmandu : President Vidyadevi Bhandari and outgoing Prime Minister and UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli had a two-hour long meeting.

The meeting between President Bhandari and Oli took place less than two weeks after the removal of the Prime Minister. This meeting is viewed as meaningful.

According to high security sources, Oli and President Bhandari met on Friday from 11:40 am to 1:40 pm. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

Earlier, during his tenure as prime minister, Oli and President Bhandari were widely criticized for bringing various ordinances and to dissolve the House of Representatives. Oli has resigned from the post of Prime Minister following the order of the Supreme Court on July 12.
