Bhim Rawal set to withdraw resignation

Kathmandu: UML leader Bhim Rawal is set to withdraw his resignation after widespread pressure from party leaders and cadres.

Bhim Rawal, who resigned from the parliament after a dispute with Madhav Kumar Nepal over whether to give a vote of confidence to Sher Bahadur Deuba, is finally set to withdraw his resignation.

Rawal had resigned a few hours before Sher Bahadur Deuba took the vote of confidence on July 19.

UML leaders had pressured Rawal to withdraw his resignation. Leader Nepal reached Rawalniwas Tokha on Thursday and made a special request for his resignation.

After the request, Rawal told Nepal to think about it. On Friday morning, Rawal informed Nepal that he would withdraw his resignation, Rawal accepted to Nepalpage,
