Kathmandu : On Sunday, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s lawyers debated on the issue of dissolving the House of Representatives.
Deuba’s lawyer was given 12 hours to argue the case during the ongoing constitutional hearing. At that time, more than 25 advocates of Deuba’s side have debated.
They lashed out at President Vidyadevi Bhandari for not appointing Deuba as the prime minister, even though a majority of members of parliament had signed the petition to the president’s office.
On Sunday, senior advocate Krishna Prasad Bhandari, Satish Krishna Kharel advocate Bhimarjun Acharya and others had debated.
Deuba’s lawyer will have an additional three hours to debate the answer.
The government lawyers’ debate will start from Monday. Eleven advocates, including the Attorney General, will debate on behalf of the government.
Deuba’s lawyer’s debate is over and Sunday’s constitutional session hearing is also over.
