Kathmandu :: A meeting of the UML Standing Committee held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Sunday concluded that the Supreme Court’s order was flawed. Talking to media persons after the meeting, UML spokesperson Pradip Gyawali said, “Our conclusion is that the decision of the Supreme Court is serious and flawed.”
Spokesperson Gyawali said that the Supreme Court had to go for legal defense as it had made an erroneous decision ignoring the provision made in Article 3 of the Political Parties Act 2075 BS. He informed that a meeting of the General Convention Organizing Committee will be held to decide further more on this. UML had already taken action against four Karnali MPs.
Stating that the Central Committee should have taken action, the General Convention Organizing Committee had taken action. UML has called it flawed. UML has also submitted a petition to the apex court to review it. He asserted that his confession had been obtained through vacate and that his confession had been obtained through vacate.
Wednesday will be GCCOC meeting
Spokesperson Pradip Gyawali informed that the meeting of the Standing Committee held in Baluwatar today has decided to hold the meeting of the 10th National General Convention Organizing Committee in Kathmandu on Wednesday at 11 am. The meeting is scheduled to be held on June 29 as there is still a long way to go in contemporary politics and some decisions have to be taken, ‘he said.
