Kathmandu, November 9
A meeting of dissolved task force scheduled to be held on Monday with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli could not be held, today. Due to the absence of two members the dissolved task force meeting at 12 noon was cancelled. This meeting was scheduled to be held in the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar.
The task force formed in last Bhadra had submitted a 15-point proposal.
Accordingly, the two chairpersons formulated a joint proposal by adding a few points in it and the standing committee meeting held on Bhadra 26 approved the proposal. The secretariat meeting had also approved the proposal. The Prime Minister was scheduled to hold deliberations with the members of the same task force on Monday.
According to Surendra Pandey, the meeting could not proceed as Janardan Sharma and Pampha Bhushal, the then members of the task force from the CPN-UML, did not participate in the discussion. Leader Sharma is said to be absent from the meeting since he is in isolation.
Similarly, leader Bhushal said that he could not attend the meeting due to busy schedule.
On behalf of Chairman Oli, there is General Secretary Bishnu Poudel and Secretariat Member Shankar Pokhrel, on behalf of Senior Leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Standing Committee Members Bhim Bahadur Rawal and Surendra Pandey and on behalf of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Leader Sharma and Bhushal were members.
Oli is preparing to resolve the issue again by reviewing the proposal prepared on last Bhadra and discussing it with the members of the dissolved task force.
