Kathmandu 14 May : Voting results of 11 municipalities across the country have come out. UML is leading in Manang district after the counting of votes.
UML has won 5 Rural municipalities while Nepali Congress, which is in the second position, has won 3 municipalities. CPN-Samajwadi has won two municipalities and Maoists one.
UML’s Lokendra Bahadur Ghale has been elected for the second time as the chairman of Chame village municipality of Manang. He got 320 votes in the village municipality where 610 votes were cast.
His nearest rival Chhiring Dorje Lama of the Nepali Congress got 279 votes. Congress’ Mingmar Doma Lama won the election with 325 votes.
