Deuba urges sPrachand and Nepal suggestion to ‘reform MCC’

 

 

Kathmandu Feb 1 : Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he wants to pass the MCC without breaking the alliance and has demanded points for reforming the MCC. During a meeting with CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal on Wednesday morning, Prime Minister Deuba demanded reforms in the MCC.

After Prachanda and Nepal said that the MCC could not be passed in the status quo, Deuba asked them to provide points for improvement.

Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party of Nepal informed that Prime Minister Deuba demanded that the MCC should be reformed. Welcoming the leaders and cadres of Sindhupalchowk to his party after the meeting, Chairman Nepal said that Prime Minister Deuba was also in favor of the alliance and efforts were being made to pass the MCC with the consent of the alliance. “The MCC needs to be reformed,” he said. We have been asked to provide what needs to be improved, ”said Chairman Nepal.

Chairman Nepal said that there was a lot of confusion and suspicion that the five-party alliance would be broken and assured to be sure about it. “The alliance will not break,” Nepal said earlier. “The issue of passing the MCC is also being discussed.” We will move forward with the alliance in the upcoming election as well. ‘
