Covid Update : 16 deaths , 2,526 c infections

KATHMANDU Feb 4 : At least 16 people have died of corona virus infection in Nepal in the last 24 hours. Despite the decline in infections, the number of deaths from the corona virus has not decreased.

Fourteen people were died in Corona virus, in Nepal, on Thursday. At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona virus in Nepal has reached 11,794.

The infection, however, has been steadily declining. In the last 24 hours, an additional 2,526 people have been confirmed infected. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 11,073 samples from the antigen and PCR methods were tested in the last 24 hours. Infection has been confirmed in 1602 people through PCR method and 924 people through antigen.

The number of people recovering in 24 hours is 8,425. At present, the number of active infected people in Nepal is 56,457.

5 lakh 13 thousand 51 people have been vaccinated in 24 hours.
