Seventy percent received a full anti covid vaccine and 3Laks received booster dose

Kathmandu Jan 28 : The government claims that 70 percent of people in Nepal over the age of 18 have been fully vaccinated against the corona virus.

On Friday, Health and Population Minister Birodh Khatiwada said in a statement that 70 per cent of the citizens over the age of 18 had been fully vaccinated and 83 per cent had been vaccinated at least once.

Similarly, 1,872,670 children between the ages of 12 and 17 have been vaccinated for the first time and 3,58,298 children have been fully vaccinated, he said. Three million people at the forefront of the Corona virus epidemic have received booster doses.

Minister Khatiwada also informed that out of the 42,049,640 doses of vaccine against corona virus that have arrived in Nepal so far, 36,152 doses have not been given.

Friday marks one year since the start of vaccination against corona virus in Nepal.
