Kathmandu Jan 18 : Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 10 thousand 258 people in the last 24 hours. This is the highest number of confirmed cases of corona virus infection in Nepal in a single day. Earlier, the infection was confirmed in 9,483 people on 28 April 2078.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 22,828 people were tested across the country. The PCR test of 17 thousand 872 people confirmed the infection in 8730 and the antigen test of 10 thousand 258 people confirmed the infection in 1528 people.

In the last 24 hours, 562 people have been recovered and one has died. Currently, 39,044 people are actively infected across the country.
