liberal for domestic airlines

Likewise Antigentesting of air passengers will not be mandatory in domestic air travel. Earlier, a meeting of the Council of Ministers had decided not to make such a provision mandatory in the meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday saying that it would be impractical for short-haul air travel.

Buddhisagar Lamichhane, joint secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, informed the airline about this. Accordingly, the airline operators’ association has circulated its members.

According to this decision, the passenger has to wear double mask. In this case, the face shield will not be mandatory. Mask will not be available during the trip. Passengers must have a vaccination card. Arrangements have been made to show the photo on the mobile phone as the card cannot be carried.

The airline will have to make arrangements to measure the temperature of the passengers. At the time of passenger check-in, they will be asked if they have any infectious disease symptoms.
