UML Legislative General Convention: Reporting of the group discussion is over

Kathmandu: On the third day of the CPN (UML) Legislative General Convention, the group discussion on political, organizational and legislative amendment report ended on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, the leaders of Province 1, Province 2 and Gandaki Pradesh as well as the groups of the people’s organizations announced the results of their group discussions and the work of reporting the group discussions was completed.

Devraj Ghimire from State 1, Jwala Sah from province 2 and Jagat Bahadur Bishwakarma from Gandaki province group presented the findings of the group. Similarly, UNHCR chairperson Sunita Baral presented the report of the group discussion on behalf of the people’s organization.

Leaders close to Chairman KP Sharma Oli are the leaders close to the group from province 1, Gandaki and the people’s organizations, while Jwala Sah, who reports from province 2, is close to Prabhu Sah, who joined the UML from the CPN (Maoist). While Prabhu Sah was not present at the UML Legislative General Convention, Jwala was selected as the group leader.

UML’s general convention is scheduled to end on Sunday. Today,  chairman Oli is scheduled to deliver the closing address.
