Ruling Top leaders Meeting begins in Baluwatar

Kathmandu: The meeting of the top leaders of the ruling party has started in Baluwatar. Before the expansion of the cabinet, the leaders of the ruling parties are holding discussions to finalize the agreement reached in the ministry.

The meeting, which started at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar, was attended by Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist) Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal and Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

In the cabinet, it was agreed that the Congress would have eight ministries, the Maoist Center five, the Unified Socialists and the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) four each. Congress, Maoists and Unified Socialists will also get one Minister of State each.

The Prime Minister has been criticized for not completing the cabinet even after three months of the formation of the government.
