We may have to chose the streets for amend the constitution: Chair Prachanda

Kathmandu:  He said that the CPN (Maoist Center) may have to take to the streets to amend the constitution.

Speaking at a program organized at the party office Paris Danda on the occasion of the memorial day of the then party vice-chairman Posta Bahadur Bogati, Prachanda said that they had different views while drafting the new constitution.

Stating that he wanted to move forward by reaching an agreement between the political parties, he said, “But if necessary, we may have to take to the streets.” However, he said that the people and the cadres have not deteriorated and are ready for the revolutionary movement. Millions are ready to take to the streets, ‘he said.”People are not spoiled, neither are the activists. We are just spoiled leaders.
