Kathmandu : Amidst the slogans of the main opposition party CPN-UML, the government has approved the budget ordinance. At the same time, the ordinance has become the property of the parliament.

In the House of Representatives sitting on Friday, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma had submitted the Financial Ordinance 2078, National Debt Raising Ordinance 2078 and Appropriation Ordinance for approval.

The House of Representatives has approved the ordinances by a majority.

As soon as the ordinances are approved, the House of Representatives meeting has been adjourned for 15 minutes. Finance Minister Janardan Sharma had reached the rostrum and submitted the ordinance for approval.

CPN-UML had also blocked three sittings of the House of Representatives on Wednesday.
