Kathmandu : The meeting of the Central Committee convened by the Nepal faction today planning to prepare next and new strategy for upcoming days.

In a discussion with the task force on Wednesday, KP Oli said that the chapter of party unity was now closed. After that, the meeting of the Central Committee fo Madhav faction has been postponed and the meeting of the Standing Committee has been held to formulate the internal strategy, ‘said a leader of the Nepal side.

At present, a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Nepal side is scheduled to be held at the Quality Banquet in Buddhanagar.

The leaders were engaged in discussions throughout the day on Wednesday to finalize the party’s dispute resolution.

Separate discussions were held between 10 leaders from both sides of the disbanded UML task force and Madhav Nepal. Similarly, 10 leaders of the task force had a discussion with party chairman Oli on Wednesday.

Earlier, Madhav Nepal had a long discussion with Subash Nemwang and Bhim Rawal of the task force on Wednesday morning. One of the leaders said that no solution could be found for resolving the party dispute.

A member of the task force said that Oli had bid farewell to the leaders of the task force saying that the chapter of party unity was now closed after no conclusion was reached during the day-long discussion.

According to a source, Oli instructed UML central office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang to issue a statement instructing him not to attend the meeting and not to attend the meeting.

Accordingly, Tamang had issued a statement at 8 pm on Wednesday.
