Kathmandu : A total of 2,624 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the past 24 hours across the country. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new cases were identified while conducting swab tests on 13,573 individuals.

Similarly, the Ministry confirmed that 1,320 infected patients have recovered today. With this, total number of COVID-19 patients getting recovered reached 680,815 in Nepal. Likewise, 20 COVID-19 patients died in the past 24 hours in the country.

The total deaths caused by Corona Virus infection reached 10,259 till August 14 in the country. The Ministry has further shared that there are 39,405 active cases of the virus infection across the country. The Ministry has further confirmed that 411 infected people are in quarantine facilities while 39,405 are in isolation in the country.
