Nepali Congress General Convention will be 25 to 29 November, fifth time change the date

Kathmandu: The 14th Central General Convention of the Ruling party Nepali Congress is scheduled to be held from November 25 to 29. The Central Committee meeting held at the residence of president Sher Bahadur Deuba has postponed the scheduled date of the General Convention.

The general convention will be held in Kadamadu.

Earlier, it was decided to hold the general convention from September 1 to 4.

In the meeting of the Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress held from 12-14 August, there was a serious dispute between Deuba and Poudel’s faction over whether to hold the general convention on the scheduled date or to change the date.
The date of the Congress General Convention had been postponed four times before this. This is the fifth time the date of the convention has been changed.
