Kathmanandu : Nepal communist Party (Maoist Center) Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has claimed that the groundwork has been laid for his party to become a major force again in the upcoming election. While giving a ‘brief report’ on the current situation at the Central Committee meeting that started in Kathmandu on Saturday, Prachanda stated, “The Maoists are likely to become the major force in the country by the time of the next election.”

According to Prachanda, the Maoists have taken political initiative in the recent political developments, which has created a political basis to become a major force in the election. However, he said that this political initiative has yet to be transformed into an organizational force.

Addressing the meeting, Prachanda said, “Our organization is in disarray. The Maoist leadership has taken the political initiative in its own hands, now it is necessary to transform it into an organizational force. When the Maoists are weak, the issues of change will be reversed and the country itself may fall into an accident. Therefore, the Maoists should take the initiative to protect change, democracy and national independence. ‘

Prachanda has written in the political report “The Maoist center has fought against the dissolution of the parliament.” The people have understood that it was the Maoist center that formed the alliance and got KP Oli off the horse. Opponents and the world have understood. Now this initiative needs to be transformed into an organization. ‘

Stating that there were shortcomings in the leadership in the meantime, Prachanda said that the Maoists were strong in both the center and the province. CPN (MC) Chairman Prachanda also claimed that the CPN (MC) had less problems than other parties and is ideologically united. “After the decision has been made in our party, there is no question of disobedience. At the meeting of the Central Committee, CPN (MC) Chairman Prachanda also reviewed the three-year tenure of the CPN . Presenting a political and organizational report at the meeting of the Central Committee that started in Battisputali, Kathmandu on Saturday, Chairman Prachanda has proposed to hold a national conference from December 26- 28 .

In Prachanda’s proposal, it is mentioned that the Maoist center will complete the distribution and renewal of party membership across the country by mid-septermber. It has been said that village conventions will be held from in September and district convention will be held in November. Prachanda has proposed to hold the conference on the same day in wards across the country.
