Maoist CC – 2day meeting concluded : threat of regression remains, Prachanda remarks possible to winover

Kathmandu : The Central Committee meeting of the CPN-Maoist has concluded that there is still a danger of regression. Leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed after the meeting that the political and legislative amendment proposal submitted by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has unanimously passed.

Shrestha also informed that the meeting also passed the legislative amendment and the contemporary proposal. In the report of the chairperson presented at the meeting, Shrestha specified about the current political workload and organizational condition of the party.

“Especially the reactionary threat remains and it is necessary to move forward with vigilance. It is necessary to continue the Left Democratic alliance for the sake of national unity,” Shrestha said while concluding the meeting.

The meeting has decided to hold the party’s national conference in the second week of December. Before the end of the meeting, various reports were passed including the suggestions made through group discussions among 8 groups.
Addressing the concluding meeting, Chairman Prachanda expressed the belief that it would help the party to synthesize ideas and help in revolutionary transformation.

Prachanda’s final note : danger of collapse !

Prachanda has said that there is no justification for the Maoist party if it continues the current style of work and continues in the status quo.

“It is not the party’s job to continue what it is doing now. The communist parties in the world collapsed. Addressing a meeting of the Central Committee on Sunday, Prachanda said, “It is more honest to dissolve the party, engage in research or write a book than to be honest with the class and ideology.”

Prachanda said that the Maoist party was not different from other bourgeois reactionaries and was moving in the same direction.

“It simply came to our notice then. It’s going that way, we don’t know, ‘said Prachanda,’ at what point do we break it? Who breaks? Shall we break or not? Is it just a matter of words or deeds? ‘

Prachanda claimed that the Maoists now have the power to lead the revolution as they took risks during the People’s War. “Even now, this leadership team has the power to lead Nepal’s revolution,” Prachanda said confidently at the meeting. You see, we didn’t believe it before, we became number one. ‘

Prachanda said that the current situation was not normal. Prachanda cleared that his political report has hastily prepared as it prepared the groundwork for the debate till the next national conference.

Stating that the 8-page proposal has an embryo of ideas, he said that it would prepare a document to guide the Nepali revolution when it reaches the national conference. Prachanda said, “If we don’t do that, we will be confused.” We don’t let it get messy like this. Prove once again that we are not like others. ‘
