Lumbini chief minister gets vote of confidence

Butwal : Lumbini Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC has received a vote of confidence. 43 MPs were present in the polling in provincial parliament. There were 42 votes in favor of KC and one neutral vote.

KC took a vote of confidence on Monday, 12 days after becoming the chief minister amid UML’s boycott in the provincial assembly. province Chief Amik Sherchan had appointed KC as the Chief Minister on Aug 12.

According to Article 168, Clause 2 of the Constitution, KC has become the Chief Minister with the support of the CPN-Maoist Center, Nepali Congress, Janata Samajwadi and Rastriya Janamorcha.
