In the same month, three people died in Raute settlement

Surkhet : Three people of Raute have died while roaming in the forest of Karnali. He died this month.
Man Singh, 28, and Dal Bahadur Shahi, 31, died a week apart, said Govinda Thapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Salyan District Police Office.

They had shifted from Kalimati village in Gurbhakot of Surkhet to Kalchekhola of Salyan. After the death of both of them, cremation was held as per tradition.
According to tradition, Raute, who used to move people when they died, moved them near Kalchekhola of the same village. Earlier, a girl had died while living in Amapsoti of Gurbhakot village municipality. After the deaths of the three, their number is now 140, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Thapa.
After receiving the news of the death, a team including Chetan Nidhi Wagle, head of the Public Health Service Office in Surkhet, reached the slum on Monday and examined the health of more than 50 people, but some others did not come for treatment.

‘Many children were found to be malnourished when they reached the settlement. There are a lot of injured patients in that community ‘, he said,’ We gave worm medicine to the children. There were more patients with alcohol, skin and high blood pressure. ‘
According to Public Health Chief Wagle, some medicines have been provided with the help of Sosek, an NGO that has been assisting Raute, and more will be sent later.
