Deuba government should reject Oli government’s anti-people decision: Ram Kumari Jhankri

Kathmandu : Member of the House of Representatives Ram Kumari Jhankri has said that the current government should reject the anti-people decision taken by the KP Oli-led government.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, the UML rebel group leader Jhankri said, “The government has not only the responsibility to keep the constitution on track and get it on the right track, but also to repeal the anti-people acts committed by the previous government.”

She said that one example of the anti-people decision was the Oli government to allow the sale of land beyond the land limits of Jhapa. She demanded that the decision be overturned, adding that a delegation from Jhapa had come to Kathmandu and drew the government’s attention to it. She also drew the government’s attention to the Darchula incident.
