Covid-Update: deaths exceeded 10,000

Kathmandu : The number of deaths from coronavirus in Nepal has exceeded 10,000. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 25 people have died in the last 24 hours and the death toll has exceeded 10,000 on Friday.
According to the ministry, the death toll from the coronavirus has reached 10,019 so far.

The first case of death was reported from Corona virus in Nepal on 3 May 2020. A 29-year-old woman from Sindhupalchowk had died due to corona virus. She was pregnant. She had given birth to a baby on April 7, 2020 at the TRI Teaching Hospital and was discharged on April 9 and went home to Sindhupalchowk.

However, she was rushed to a local hospital with fever and respiratory problems. However, she was referred to Dhulikhel Hospital on suspicion of corona virus and died there.

The first case of Corona virus in Nepal was confirmed on January 26, 2020. Corona virus was confirmed among the students who came to Nepal from China. Currently, the total number of corona virus infections in the country has been confirmed to be 710,509 through PCR method and 76,080 through antigen method.

The number of infected has reached 665,548 so far and the total number of deaths has reached 10,019. Currently, there are 34,942 active infected people across the country.
