Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been detected in 1,075 people in Kathmandu Valley. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 766 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 146 in Bhaktapur and 163 in Lalitpur. Across the country, tests performed on PCR and antigen methods on Thursday showed corona virus in 3,938 people.

According to the data made public by the ministry, 18,408 people were tested today and 3,938 people were infected. It was seen in 4,107 people on Wednesday.

The number of people recovering from such infections is 2,012 in the last 24 hours. So far, 663,663 people have recovered from the infection. The recovery rate in Nepal is 93.7 percent.

Similarly, 37 people have died due to this infection in the last 24 hours. According to the ministry, 9,994 people have been cured so far.

There are 34,422 active infected people, 31,108 in home isolation, 3,314 in institutional isolation and 375 in quarantine.

According to the ministry, 713 people are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit and 158 in the ventilator.
