Chairman Oli’s statement at midnight with fear of party break

Kathmandu : CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has objected to the conspiracy to split the UML by bringing an ordinance on the division of political parties by abruptly ending the parliamentary session. He said that any excuse or conspiracy to divide the UML and its parliamentary party would not be acceptable to the party.

Oli issued the statement after holding discussions with party leaders at his residence in Balkot on Monday. The Parliament session was concluded today with the preparation to bring the bill related to political parties through an ordinance.

“I heartily appeal to all party leaders, activists and honorable members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly to stand firm against any attempt to split the party or the parliamentary party,” Oli said in a statement.
