Kathmandu: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that the Council of Ministers will be expanded with the registration of the CPN-UML Socialists.

UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has applied to the Election Commission for UML socialist registration only on Wednesday. However, the leaders are yet to be identified as no rules have been formulated as per the ordinance on political parties.

Stating that a meeting was held between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, himself and UML Socialist Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal only on Thursday morning, he said, “A new situation has arisen since yesterday.”
