Kathmandu : CPN-UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel has said that they will not wait for the Madhav group.

Talking to media persons after the program of feeding kheer (Rice-podding)at the party office on the occasion of Friday, July 30, Pokharel announced that he would wait till Friday evening or else hold a standing committee meeting on Saturday.

“Maybe some things will happen by this evening, then I understand that it is not appropriate to wait too long,” Pokhrel said in the context of unity. “Tomorrow will be a meeting of the standing committee.”

He said that they will discuss how to move forward from the meeting. “Especially when it comes to the general convention, before that the legislative general convention has to be held. The party decides on the issues of organizing the lower committees and organizing the membership, ‘said Pokharel.
