Kathmandu : The Special Committee on Investment, Infrastructure and Employment Perspectives and Sustainable Projects of the Nepali Congress has urged the Finance Minister to bring a policy to stop youth migration. The committee has suggested to Finance Minister Janardan Sharma to bring a policy to prevent the flight of youth by creating entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.

Committee Coordinator MP Binod Chaudhary and Co-Coordinator Anil Rungta and other officials met Finance Minister Sharma and wished him to do exemplary work in load shedding prevention.

In a meeting with Finance Minister Sharma, Chaudhary said that the government should bring concrete programs to ensure the income of the people.

He said that the economy would be viable in the coming days only if developing countries like Nepal could increase domestic consumption and exports by increasing production. He said that the income generation of the people will improve along with the employment opportunities.

The committee, which is conducting ‘Garikhane Abhiyan’ for the development of entrepreneurship in the country, has suggested that 60,000 Nepali youths can be made entrepreneurs if the provision of providing at least 10 concessional loans through 6,000 branches of banks and financial institutions is effectively implemented. The committee has concluded that even if at least three people are employed in an enterprise, about 200,000 jobs will be created annually.
