US Secretary of State calls Deuba from Delhi

Kathmandu : Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and US Secretary of State Anthony J. Blinken held a telephone conversation on Tuesday. The Foreign Ministry said in a telephone conversation that Deuba and Blinken discussed issues of mutual interest in the development partnership, climate change and the Corona virus epidemic.

Prime Minister Deuba said on Twitter that he had a conversation with the Foreign Minister. He said that discussions were held with the Foreign Minister on bilateral relations as well as cooperation in the interest of the people of the two countries.

Blinken is on a visit to India. According to the Ministry, they discussed issues including bilateral partnership between Nepal and the United States.
Deuba and Blinken also discussed US-sponsored 1.5 million doses of coronavirus vaccine and climate change, according to the State Department.
