UML task force meeting postponed, to resume at 7 p.m.

Kathmandu : The fourth day meeting of the CPN-UML task force formed to resolve the dispute within the party has been postponed till 7 pm this evening.

The fourth day meeting of the task force started in the office of the task force member and Deputy prime minister Bishnu Poudel, Subash Nemwang, coordinator of the establishment party, said that the meeting was postponed due to internal homework needed to finalize the agreement. He informed that it has been decided to engage in internal discussions to resolve the disputes within the party.

All the members of the task force including coordinator of the establishment party Nemwang and coordinator of Madhav Nepal faction Bhim Rawal were present at the meeting.

Before the meeting of the task force, there was a discussion between the coordinator Rawal and the DPM Poudel at the finance ministry.

After meeting Poudel, Rawal had a meeting with leader Madhav Nepal. The task force, which has been inactive for a long time, had started work on Monday. The members of the task force claim that they have come close to an agreement through continuous meetings.

The Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and senior leader Madhav Nepal had a meeting on Wednesday when the task force was reaching about to an agreement. The party establishment side members of the task force are urging to publish the statement conveying the message of party unity.
