UML Task Force Meeting: Everyone’s sweet speech, concrete issues pending

Kathmandu. In the meeting of the task force formed to resolve the dispute of the CPN-UML held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday, sweet speeches were made by both the factions.

A member said that the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar was to discuss the issue of disagreement but the two sides did nothing but give speeches on the importance of unity. Even though the Madhav Nepal faction is forcing their own group, the Oli faction have compassion to compromise at this time, the idea of why we should bow down to the Oli faction is becoming public.

While the UML working group meeting was going on at Singha Durbar, a discussion was held between leader Madhav Nepal and CPN-Maoist Chairman Prachanda at Nepal Niwas Koteshwor. According to sources, Madhav Nepal has reiterated his commitment not to obstruct the five-party alliance. According to Nepal, the talks are nothing more than public consumption.
