UML MP Bhim Rawal resigned

Kathmandu : CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal has announced his resignation from the post of MP.

He Elected from Achham Constituency No. 1, announced his resignation at a meeting of Madhav Nepal MPs at Singha Durbar on Sunday.

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s demand for the PM’s post under Article 76 (5) was supported by 26 UML MPs, including Bhim Rawal.

Rawal announced his resignation on the day Deuba is planning to get vote of confident as the post of prime minister .

Stating that immoral political activities were seen at a high political level, Rawal said that he would not be a traitor to the country and anti-people politics. “Therefore, I will separate myself from that tainted game rather than being a traitor to the country and anti-people politics,” he told reporters.
