Kathmandu : At a time when disputes within the party are at an all-time high, both groups of the CPN-UML (establishment ) and (Madhav Nepal ) are holding separate meetings.
The meeting of the central committee of the Oli faction which started on Monday is being held at 3 pm. The 9-point agenda including implementation of the 10-point agreement given by the task force to resolve the party dispute will be discussed in the Central Committee.

Senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s group leaders were absent from the meeting.

This is the first meeting of the standing committee after giving a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. Twenty-two people, including leader Nepal, had given a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Deuba.

After the standing committee meeting, a meeting of the central committee and parliamentarians is also likely to be held, said a leader.
