SC orders to convene a parliamentary session by July 18, and orders vote of confidence within two days

Kathmandu : The Supreme Court has issued an order to convene a parliamentary session starting today within seven days. The court has issued an order to convene a session of the House of Representatives within 18 July.

A constitutional bench headed by Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JBR on Monday ruled to re-strores the House of Representatives.

The Supreme Court has issued an order to appoint Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister in accordance with Article 76 (5) of the Constitution and requested him to take a vote of confidence within two days of the House of Representatives meeting.

It has been asked to convene the session of the House of Representatives by July 18 and take a vote of confidence within two days of the commencement of the session.
