Reinstated House of Representatives meeting today, Deuba will take vote of confident by tomorrow !

Kathmandu : The meeting of the House of Representatives reinstated by the order of the Supreme Court is being held today. The first meeting of the eighth convention will be held at 4 pm. The CPN-UML, which has been in power for nearly three and a half years, will be seen as the main opposition this time.

On the recommendation of the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court had issued an order on July 12 to restore the House of Representatives dissolved by President Vidyadevi Bhandari on the recommendation of KP oli Government.

As per the probable agenda prepared by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, some of the bills brought by the previous government will be processed on Sunday. The Oli-led government had issued 16 ordinances. Among them are ordinances related to budget.

Finance Minister Janardan Sharma (Prabhakar) has already said that he will present the budget brought from the ordinance in the parliament. However, the agenda of the first meeting on Sunday will be decided by the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee which will be held at 10 am.

In the current session, Sher Bahadur Deuba will take a vote of confidence in the Prime Minister. According to high-level sources in the United Coalition, a vote of confidence is being prepared on Monday. The vote of at least 13 members of the UML’s Madhav Nepal faction is required for a coalition government to receive a vote of confidence.
