Preparing Opposition alliance meeting, Prachanda meet Deuba and Madhav

Kathmandu : Preparations are underway for a meeting of the Nepali Congress-led opposition alliance. Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has met Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and UML rebel leader Madhav Nepal for the preparation of the opposition alliance’s meeting.

Sources close to Budhanilkantha said that Prachanda met Deuba on Saturday afternoon and reviewed the unity between Madhav Nepal and KP Oli. Before meeting Deuba on Saturday afternoon, Prachanda had a discussion with Madhav Nepal at his residence.

While the CPN-UML’ dispute is said to be settled, Prachanda is said to be interested in what is real with Madhav Nepal.

During the meeting with Prachanda, the leader Nepal said that no decision would affect the case of the Supreme Court. According to the leaders, Nepal also said that it did not believe that Oli sincerely wanted unity.

Leader Nepal told Prachanda that he was well aware that Oli had tried to influence the decision of the Supreme Court to pretend unity.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the opposition alliance has been held with the participation of Madhav Nepal. According to sources, a meeting of the coalition will probably be held on Sunday afternoon.
