PM Oli heading Sindhupalchowk today to observe damaged Melamchi Project

Kathmandu : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inspect various settlements in Sindhupalchowk, including the Melamchi Drinking Water Project, which was damaged by the floods today. The Prime Minister will inspect the damaged Melamchi project, Helambu landslide affected areas and other places from the air.

According to Central Member and Party Central Office Secretary Sher bahadur Tamang, the Prime Minister will also interact with the people’s representatives, party leaders and flood and landslide victims at Ganesh Bagar in Helambu.

After the interaction, the Prime Minister will participate in a program to be organized in Melamchi Bazaar. There, the Chief District Officer will inform the Prime Minister about the details of the damage in Sindhupalchowk. Similarly, the head of Melamchi Drinking Water Project is scheduled to inform about the condition of Melamchi.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the Prime Minister is scheduled to interact with the flood victims of Melamchi Bazaar for few time. According to the Secretariat, the Prime Minister is preparing to announce a relief and reconstruction package after observing the situation of flood victims and physical damage.
