Kathmandu : CPN-UML Chairperson and Parliamentary Party Leader KP Sharma Oli has again termed senior party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal as a criminal.
Speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary parties held at the Lhotse Hall of the Parliament House in Singha Durbar on Friday afternoon, Oli said that Nepal had committed the crime of forming an opposition government by overthrowing its own government.
“Let others come to the party in person, but Madhav Nepal is the main culprit. He has no place in the party,” Oli said at the meeting.
Earlier, Oli, who had left Baluwatar for his residence in Balkot on Wednesday, had termed Nepal a traitor.
He said the Deuba-led government could not be supported under any circumstances. He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture.
“More conspiracies will be launched against the UML. The House can conclude in a short time. They try to break our party by bringing ordinances. They can also cause grief at the province and local levels. The cultivation of lies will continue. Repression will begin, ‘he said.
In today’s meeting, Oli also expressed outrage over the Supreme Court’s order and decided to launch a nationwide exposure campaign.
A meeting of the standing committee held before the meeting of the parliamentary parties has decided to dissolve the party unity task force. The same meeting also decided not to give a vote of confidence to the Deuba government. Madhav’s side was absent from the meeting of the Standing Committee and the Parliamentary Party.
