Kathmandu : Today, monsoon winds are affecting the entire country. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many places across the country this (Saturday) afternoon and light to moderate rains are falling in many parts of Gandaki Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain with thunderstorm is expected in Far West, Lumbini, Gandaki, Bagmati, Province 2 and a few places in Province 1.

It is requested to take necessary precaution as there is a risk of soil erosion, landslides and drift in hilly areas and rising water level in rivers and streams.
