Madhav has no place in the party: Oli, unity only after Oli resigns party chairmanship : Jhankri

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML will make a final effort to resolve the internal dispute by Sunday.

The meeting of the UML called for 3 pm on Saturday has been postponed till 3 pm on Sunday as a last ditch effort to resolve the dispute.

The meeting has been postponed by the UML Chairman KP Sharma oli .

As soon as the meeting started, Standing Committee member Subash Nemwang said that the members of the task force on Madhav Nepal’s side had asked for time to take Madhav Nepal and suggested postponing the meeting.

Before the meeting of the Oli faction’s standing committee, the members of the disbanded task force had an informal discussion at the UML parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar.

Leaders of Oli’s faction have come to the conclusion that if Madhav Nepal does not reach an agreement by Sunday, they will not wait for him.

Earlier, party chairman KP Sharma Oli had said that he was flexible to resolve the dispute. Oli had instructed the members of the disbanded task force last Wednesday to bring an alternative to resolve the dispute by Friday.

Addressing a meeting of the Kathmandu District Committee today, Oli said that anti-movement and traitors like Madhav Nepal could not be given a place in the CPN-UML.

On the other hand, addressing the Akhil Force today, Madhav Nepal has also warned Oli that he will not tolerate any manipulation in the hope of becoming the Prime Minister again.
UML leader and Madhav Nepal MP Ram Kumari Jhankri has put forward a strict condition that unity can be achieved only if Oli resigns from the party chairmanship. Addressing Akhil Forcei’s program, Madhav factions leader told that Oli was anti-unity and anti-constitution.
Both sides are pursuing parallel activities. UML Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Poudel has said that unity is impossible as both the parties are in their previously announced stance and policy. He said that we are trying our best till the end.
