Butwal : Three members of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) have expelled from the Lumbini Provincial Assembly.
Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat Durlabh Kumar Pun on Friday informed that Santosh Kumar Pandey, Vijay Bahadur Yadav and Kalpana Pandey have been relieved of their posts.
Santosh Kumar Pandey is the Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Vijay Bahadur Yadav is the Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives and Kalpana Pandey is the Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment.
JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav had sent a letter to the Lumbini Provincial Assembly Secretariat to expel him from the provincial assembly saying that he had joined the government against the party’s decision.
Earlier, according to the party’s letter, he was expelled from the provincial assembly on April 29 but was reinstated by the Supreme Court.
His case is pending in the Supreme Court after he was expelled from the provincial assembly.
All the three have been expelled from the provincial assembly as the case was scheduled to be heard on September 30.
