Judge Ishwar Khatiwada has written the ‘landmark verdict’ to issue the mandamus

Kathmandu : The Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court, after hearing the writ petition against the dissolution of the House of Representatives for 11 days, has reached a 168-page decision.

Judge Ishwor Khatiwada has written the order to appoint Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister so that the House of Representatives can be restored.

Even if he is the one who drafted the verdict, the opinion of all the other judges is equally important in its content. As he wrote, his signature is the first at the end of the verdict. After that, other judges of the Constitutional Court Ananda Mohan Bhattarai, Deepak Kumar Karki, Mira Khadka and finally Chief Justice Cholendra Samsher JBR have signed.

Judge Khatiwada, who drafted the verdict, read out the verdict in the court on Monday. Now, his name is at the forefront of the list of judges who have written the best judgment in the Supreme Court. The judgments he writes have been praised in the judiciary.

Senior advocate Badri Bahadur Karki has termed Monday’s verdict as a’ landmark verdict’.

After the verdict, Karki said that today’s verdict is a ‘landmark verdict’.

In the future Prime Minister will be not able to use Parliament to his advantage after this decision, which defines the duties and powers of the President, does not allow the Prime Minister to be unlimited, and the role of the Speaker as well.
