I would be happy if Oli present in Parliament today: Deuba

Kathmandu : Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he would be happy if CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli came to the House of Representatives today.

Stating that he always came to the meeting when Oli was the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Deuba said that he did not know why Oli did not come.

Deuba thanked all the parties and leaders for voting in favor of the confidence motion. He said that he did not think that Subash Nemwang, the deputy leader of the CPN-UML, would speak in the House of Representatives today.

The prime minister also said he was not in favor of attacking the opposition. Pointing to UML MP Pradip Gyawali, Prime Minister Deuba said, “You did not think you would attack a lot.”

He also said that Nemwang, a former chairperson of the Constituent Assembly, had expected him to speak on Article 76 (5) of the constitution, but he did not.

Prime Minister Deuba said that vaccination was the priority. “Our priority is to vaccinate against corona virus,” Deuba said.
