Government brings relief package with vaccines: FM Sharma

Kathmandu : The government plans to bring a package of relief and rehabilitation to boost the corona virus-affected economy along with the vaccine. Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has informed that the government will soon bring relief and rehabilitation package to boost the economy directly affected by covid-19..

This was stated by Finance Minister Sharma while addressing the annual general assembly of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries. Stating that there is a challenge to make the import-oriented economy export-oriented, Finance Minister Sharma said that the government is discussing the necessary possibilities for that.

He pointed out the need to transform the previous consumer-oriented economy into a production-oriented economy. Minister Sharma expressed the view that the country’s economy can be uplifted by using domestically produced materials at home.

He openly praised the ‘make-in Nepal’ announced by CNI. He said that ‘Make in Nepal’ would be useful for increasing employment and strengthening the economy. Binod Chaudhary, Chief Officer of Policy Commission of India Amitabh Kant and various industrialists were present on the occasion.
