Kathmandu: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has warned that senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal will not be given any place in the party even if he admits self-criticism and shortcomings.
However, he said that the cadres who followed Nepal would accept the shortcomings and give a chance to the party.
Oli, who reached Balkot from Baluwatar on Wednesday, addressed the cadres and expressed his indignation towards Nepal, saying that he had led his own party to overthrow the government.
“There are various forces within our party. The infiltration took place in such a way that the dogmatics of the party, followed the reactionaries against the party, against the power of the people, against democracy, to overthrow their own government and put the opposition in front of the president office, ‘Oli said. We give a chance to those who are left behind Madav nepal to come to the party and work, feeling their shortcomings. But in the case of Madhav Nepal, there is no place in the party for self-criticism and admitting mistakes and weaknesses.
After the appointment of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister on the ofrder of the Supreme Court, Oli reached his private residence in Balkot from the Prime Minister’s official residence Baluwatar. He was taken to Balkot from Baluwatar by the cadres with skirts. It was raining heavily when Oli was walking in Balkot with his ‘Lavalskar’. Oli addressed the followers from the rooftop of his house.
