Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader Pradip Giri has said that Sher Bahadur Deuba could not give the number of seats to the MPs as he had campaigned with the Madhav Nepal group. Pradip Giri said – ‘Deuba can give up to 5 seats if he wants.’ Who else leaves? Will the Nepali Congress leader give up his seat if Deuba gives it?’
Speaking to Editor-in-Chief Shubha Shankar Kandel on ABC News Television’s Outlook program, Giri said the alliance with Deuba -Prachanda and Madhav Nepal would work to overthrow Prime Minister KP Oli. Then they go on their way.
As there is no alliance culture in Nepal, alliance is not known for a long time. The current opposition coalition has neither a program nor a public commitment. How can an alliance last long in such a situation? Giri questioned.
Giri sneered, saying that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had set a new record by setting the standard of law, legislation, rules and etiquette.
The thought-provoking interview with Giri will be broadcast on Saturday at 9 pm, Sunday at 8 am and 3 pm on ABC television.
