Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, 2,280 people have been infected with the corona virus in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, PCR tests conducted across the country on Saturday confirmed the infection in an additional 2,280 people. At the same time, the number of corona virus infections in Nepal has reached 695,389.

Of the 4,256 tests performed by the antigen method, 826 tested positive. According to the ministry, 13,519 tests performed on PCR and antigen in 24 hours confirmed the infection in 3,106 people.

1,916 people have been recovered in 24 hours. So far, the number of people free of corona virus infections in Nepal is 654,177.

Another 23 people have died of corona virus infection in Nepal. At the same time, the number of deaths from corona virus in Nepal has reached 9,857.

According to the ministry, the PCR test has reached 3.6 million 3 thousand 465 so far. There are 31,355 in isolation and 380 in quarantine, according to the ministry.
