Covid-19: 1,875 infections, 29 deaths

Kathmandu : Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 1,875 people in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,875 people were found infected with the corona virus, including 1,218 people tested 5,374 PCRs and 6,570 people tested 5,130 antigens.

In the last 24 hours, 29 people have died and 1,286 have recovered from the corona virus infection.

With the addition on Thursday, the total number of corona virus infections in Nepal has reached 651,380. Of them, 9,320 people have died and 615,613 have been infected.

According to the ministry, there are currently 26,447 active infected people across the country. Out of which 23 thousand 692 are in home isolation and 2755 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona virus patients, 572 are being treated in the ICU and 157 in the ventilator.

How many are infected in which district ?

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Kathmandu has the highest number of 287 infected people. Corona virus infection has been detected in 118 people in Sunsari, 105 in Kaski, 82 in Lalitpur, 65 in Morang, 60 in Chitwan and 58 in Bhaktapur.

Similarly, 47 corona virus infections have been reported in Rupandehi, 39 in Nawalparasi East, 29 in Kavrepalanchok, 28/28 in Jhapa and Makwanpur, 23 in Palpa, 22 in Nuwakot and 21 in Syangja.

According to the ministry, 17 people have contracted corona virusin Surkhet, 14 in Nawalparasi West and Bardiya, 12 in Kailali and 10 in Banke.

Similarly, corona virus infection has been confirmed in 43 children under the age of 10 and 90 corona virus infections in the age group of 11 to 20 years have been added, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
