Kathmandu : After entering the peace process completion the ten years of people’s war, the then CPN-Maoist had five ministers in the interim government, including 83 nominated parliamentarians. Of the 13 governments formed since then, party chief Prachanda and leader Baburam Bhattarai have had the opportunity to lead in three of them. The Maoists, who have been in power for almost 11 years after participating in nine governments, have repeatedly become more than 90 leaders as ministers.

The Maoists have a long list of ministers. That is why almost all the parliamentarians claim that they have not been able to become ministers and leaders like themselves at this time and that they have done a good job when they were ministers or have not been able to become ministers for a long time.

In a public program on Saturday, party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda said, “I have terror in my mind – who should be made a minister and who should not be made a minister.”
‘I have come from the crowd of people pressuring me to become a minister. There is terror in my mind – who should be made a minister, who should not be made a minister. All our 49 MPs need a minister. If we get more, it is seven. If you don’t become a minister here, the tendency to curse the leadership is strong, within the current trend. Or, if you get a lucrative appointment, it is fine, if you don’t get it, you don’t have to say that the leadership is bad. I have been under the same mental stress since nowadays. Everyone wants to be made, even if only 49 people could be made ministers, that will not happen. Everyone should have a revolutionary party like this, loyalty like this, ideal like this. But, what matters is whether the minister is found or not? If found, it is fine, if not, it is not fine. This is the culture of today. This is our culture today.’ Prachanda described his MPs tendency.

Thus, Prachanda made public the psychoanalysis of the party leaders. Currently, there are 49 MPs in the House of Representatives and 13 in the National Assembly, including Chairman Prachanda. As Prachanda is the former prime minister and party Chairman, everyone except him has claimed that he should be allowed to become a minister.
Prachanda himself is a former prime minister. Agni Sapkota is the Speaker and Shashikala Shrestha (Dahal) is the Vice President of the National Assembly. Apart from these three, all 60 MPs are aspiring for ministers.
It has been made public that some aspirants have threatened the party leadership with suicide if they are not allowed to become ministers.

During the ten-year-long armed people’s war, the CPN (M) leader Prachanda, who was trained in iron discipline and led by the party but now chairman Prachanda, must be terrorized.
“If there is political and moral training in the party, the leader does not always look for a minister, he thinks that something should be done for the society. However, the structure of the leaders was such that they had to fight for the seat. That is the result now, ‘says political analyst Shyam Shrestha.
“The current political system is such that leaders have no time to think about anything other than going to office to make money and earning wealth after charging to office. This kind of circle of post-money and money-post, which has badly polluted the Maoist leaders and cadres political analyst Lokraj Baral said. This is a matter of great concern, concludes Baral.
